Its website features a clock that tells customers current wait times for registration and licensing, allowing them to time their trips to an office infamous for long lines. There is ample parking right next to the office and in a larger lot as well. Suspension hearings are not held at this branch, though most other services are available, including title transactions, road tests and license plate returns. The Braintree town clerk's office is located on the main level of Town Hall on JFK Memorial Drive. It contains the Town Clerk, as well as the assistant and principal clerks. The office is responsible for recording vital town events such as births, deaths and marriages. Copies of various documents can be found at the office during business hours. Dog licenses, business certificates, raffle permits and passports are all also found here.
