For more than a century, the FOE has helped community-driven missions and national charitable organizations. This location includes a bar that offers bingo, beers and bloody marys. This member-run and community-supported non-profit organization supports police, firefighters, and helps fund medical research in multiple areas.
The American Legion post has been offering a place to go for members and guests since 1929. Ken Gram, the business manager, has close ties to the community of Hopkins and welcomes guests, but asks that they sign the guestbook.
The Legion has a number of events that are to the public. Between 9:30am and 12:30pm on the first Sunday of every month, the public can sign up for the post's pancake breakfast for $5. The Legion also offers an omelette breakfast on the third Sunday of the month for $8. Other activities include Taco Tuesdays, meat raffles every week, Thursday Texas Hold 'Em tournaments and a Friday fish fry with live music.
Legion #320 contributes to the Raspberry Festival and offers donations to local school programs, and clubs.
