Founded in 1869 at the Virginia Military Institute in Virginia, Sigma Nu Fraternity is an undergraduate college fraternity that has chapters throughout the United States. Its College of Chapters is a biennial leadership development program for undergraduate students. It organizes conferences that focus on leadership, teambuilding and its core principles. It includes a Sigma Nu Educational Foundation that assists its collegiate members with financial aid supplements and supports the educational programs of the fraternity. Sigma Nu Fraternity also offers a leadership, ethics, achievement and development program for undergraduate students. Fifth Point Properties, its wholly owned subsidiary, offers a range of real estate management and consultation services to its chapters and house corporations. Sigma Nu Fraternity is headquartered in Lexington, Va.
