It also provides precision rework and repair tools for the electrical, electronics and telecommunications industries. ITW Chemtronics is a wholly owned subsidiary of Illinois Tool Works. ITW Chemtronics products include audiovisual cleaners, conformal coatings, lubricants, dusters, flux removers, freeze sprays, heavy-duty degreasers, swabs and applicators. It has designed and developed various tools to clean microcontamination in fiber-optic telecommunications. ITW Chemtronics removes end-face contamination on fiber-optic connectors and cleans contamination. Its electrical degreasers remove oxidized oil and grease from electrical motors and generators. ITW Chemtronics dry wipes are designed for controlled environmental, telecommunications, benchtop and laboratory applications.
