Situated in downtown Long Branch, the municipal building for Oceanport's neighboring city features offices for the police department, personnel, city clerk, planning/zoning, vital statistics, tax assessor, tax collector, purchasing and the mayor.
The City of Hoboken Business Administration office is located in the City Hall building at lower Washington Street. This office is the chief operations office for the City of Hoboken. Its primary objective is to oversee the operations of all departments and employees.
The Livingston Building Office assists in construction-related issues for residents or commercial contractors seeking to initiate construction within the township.
The Building Office responsibilities include compliance with all state and local ordinances and procedures regarding construction, in particular in providing guidance on the building permit process.

The Long Branch Police Department is at 344 Broadway, right next to the Long Branch Municipal Building. The department has 104 sworn members. It is not headed by a chief, and instead operates under a public safety director.
Hoboken Parking Authority is a government office for city wide parking issues, which happens to be in a beautiful historic building. Residents can apply for permits at City Hall and purchase an annual permit for $15 provided they have all documents, including a valid apartment lease with Hoboken address, NJ driver's license with the same Hoboken address and NJ car registration with the same Hoboken address. Daily passes for visitors are also available for $5.
The Hoboken Municipal Court is located on the first floor of the City Hall building at Washington Street.
The Municipal Court is in session Tuesday through Thursday beginning at 9am. Night court is held on Tuesdays beginning at 6pm.
Payment windows are available and open on weekdays from 8am until 4pm. On Tuesday, the windows stay open until 9pm.

Hoboken's City Hall houses most of Hoboken's city services. In addition to the clerk's office, City Hall houses the mayor's office, Hoboken Municipal Court and several city departments.
The Garwood Police Department is located within the Garwood Municipal Building. The department employs 16 officers and four civilian dispatchers. William D. Legg is chief, and has served as such since 2006.
James Monroe Gardens is one of the public housing communities that is maintained and managed by the Hoboken Housing Authority. The senior housing facility has 125 units.
This tourism bureau's mission is to promote Morris County's historic, cultural and recreational opportunities by providing services to residents, business travelers and tourists. The office is located across the street from the Morris County Courthouse.
The Lake Hiawatha Fire Department -- Fire District No. 4 -- has been serving the community since 1935. It operates with two engines, a ladder, a fire command vehicle and a support vehicle. The department is staffed by an all-volunteer crew of six officers, 25 firefighters and a chaplain.
Through the years, it has assisted residents in fires, floods, traffic accidents and other emergencies. In 1980, it also did protection duty for Vice President George Bush during his visit to Parsippany. The department sponsors numerous community events throughout the year, including Fire Prevention Week, when it opens its doors to residents and schoolchildren for firehouse tours and educational seminars.
