The building housing the Trumbull Veterans Organization (the American Legion Post 141 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10059) overlooks the Kaatz youth fishing pond. Bingo games are held every Tuesday and Wednesday evening, and a fishing derby for children takes place every year in the spring.
Post 12 of the American Legion is a veteran's organization for active and retired American service members. The building has a full bar, and maintains two halls which are available for rent to members of the community for private events such as weddings, birthdays and family gatherings. The small hall downstairs has a maximum capacity of 80, and the larger upstairs hall as a capacity of 175. Post 12 also holds a "Veterans of the Month" program on the first Sunday of every month.
